Participants will learn to widen their horizons, improve their speaking skills, and learn to think outside the box. The contest, focused on the intersection of technology and global health, is open for all students of the 9 EUGLOH universities. The competition takes place online and the winners will travel to Szeged, Hungary.

Description of the contest

  • Record a video not longer than 3 minutes addressing the below questions:

  • How might cutting-edge tech be the superhero we need for global healthcare, especially where resources are scarce?
  • How can advancements in technology be leveraged to address pressing global health challenges, and what role can students of the alliance play in shaping a healthier future to all?
  • How can universities utilize technology to integrate global health education and research across diverse academic disciplines, empowering all students to contribute to tackling the complex health issues facing our world?
  • After recording your video, upload it as "UNLISTED" to YouTube and submit your application on the registration link below, sharing the video link only with the contest organisers.
  • Make sure to use vocabulary that is understandable to people outside of the field (if you would like to address them)!
  • Participants can expect to win the chance to travel and attend one of the biggest EUGLOH events, the Annual Summit in the case that they won the contest, together with a certificate.

Requirements

Being a student of one of the 9 partner universities.

  • Selection strategy: Unlimited.
  • Number of participants: Three winners will be picked by a jury consisting of members of the Alliance.
  • Certificate/ECTS: A certificate will be given.
  • Language: English.

Please note that a scholarship for travel and accommodation is included for the winners.
