LMU Munich offers a workshop on digital storytelling for researchers who work on One Health-related research projects and want to present their results to the general public.

The overall aim of the workshop is to communicate the increasingly important approach of One Health in a digital way to students and staff from different disciplines as well as schools and the local community. This is intended to give them a greater understanding of the interdisciplinary significance of Global Health topics and to arouse interest in corresponding research topics. With the method of digital storytelling, complex health issues can be visualized by combining narrative elements and personal stories with digital and interactive media such as text, photos, videos, audio, graphics, maps, etc.

In cooperation with the Writing Center at LMU Munich, researchers are guided through the development process of their digital projects from storytelling, to the creation of the storyboard including digital multimedia elements, to the production of the digital story on a multimedia storytelling platform. The results will be presented in a virtual exhibition, which will be opened in a vernissage by the end of March 2021.
