At LMU, a team of students coordinated by Prof. Matthias Siebeck works on the implementation of a Global Health curriculum. Students from EUGLOH partner universities are welcome to join for informal discussions on various topics of Global Health.
On Wed 9 Diciembre 2020 at 18:00 (CET) Prof. Stefanie Fischer will join us and discuss about "Contraception and Birth Control". We are happy that the invited discussants Judith Soentgen and Irene Biontino, Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations, Geneva, Switzerland will participate in the event.

Matthias Siebeck is a consultant in general and visceral surgery at the LMU hospital, and a researcher interested in inflammatory bowel disease. As a medical educator, he studied teaching with simulations, and he has implemented several innovations for teaching in medicine. Since 2003, Matthias has conducted faculty development programs abroad. In 2009, Matthias co-founded the Center for International Health at LMU. He is visiting professor at universities in Ethiopia and Bhutan. Since 2018, he has facilitated the course on Global Health for undergraduate students at LMU.
