At LMU, a team of students coordinated by Prof. Matthias Siebeck works on the implementation of a Global Health curriculum. Students from EUGLOH partner universities are welcome to join for informal discussions on various topics of Global Health.

On Thursday 27th January 2022 at 16:00 to 17:00 (CET) Dr Karma Tenzin, KGUMSB, Bhutan will give a talk on "How I kept Corona out of my country (for 2 years, so far)",

Matthias Siebeck is a consultant in general and visceral surgery at the LMU hospital, and a researcher interested in inflammatory bowel disease. As a medical educator, he studied teaching with simulations, and he has implemented several innovations for teaching in medicine. Since 2003, Matthias has conducted faculty development programs abroad. In 2009, Matthias co-founded the Center for International Health at LMU. He is visiting professor at universities in Ethiopia and Bhutan. Since 2018, he has facilitated the course on Global Health for undergraduate students at LMU.
