Background
MUS patients represent 20-50% of the caseload of doctors and are one of the most difficult and expensive treatment categories in Europe
In the last few decades due to globalisation and multicultural social order, new challenges have appeared in health care. People with ethnic minority, non-Western or refugee backgrounds may have a higher incidence of MUS and cultural considerations and competence are important during their treatment
MUS as well as IC does not get enough emphasis in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in European countries despite the weight of these problems in healthcare
