EUGLOH on the Move!

Challenge yourself as a team with the first EUGLOH Connected Walking Challenge!

To kick off this Olympic year, EUGLOH is launching a challenge through a mobile app designed to enhance global health across the nine campuses of the Alliance. As a positive start to the year, assess your physical activity level while connecting with friends and colleagues!

We invite every member of the EUGLOH community—undergraduates, master's, Ph.D. students, researchers, and staff—to participate. The project spans from January to June and encourages participants to elevate their physical activity levels.

The focus is on regular and moderate physical activities, such as walking, to involve as many people as possible within the Alliance. The more your team walks, the more points you'll earn. Connect with others in the app to form your team (international teams are highly encouraged). You will find team challenges, quizzes and a chat room to share your ideas

Four challenges, each lasting 2 to 3 weeks, will be launched. Participants will form small groups of 5 persons, providing daily motivation and connections to enhance physical activity levels.

For top-performing students, a blended intensive program focusing on health, physical activity, and the Olympic Games will be offered in Paris, France, in September. Get ready to move!

How does it work?

• Download the Kiplin app (available on Playstore and Applestore).
• Create your account with the access code EUGLOH2024.
• Join the EUGLOH challenge in the “Games” tab and navigates to the other tabs.

Learning objectives

Participants will learn to be more active to promote their own well-being while interacting with people around EUGLOH. They will also learn to understand the benefits of being physically active across the different challenges proposed.

Teams of 5 people will be formed and can be switched over the different challenges. Upon completion, participants can receive a certificate of participation.

Requirements

• Selection strategy: First come, first served.
• Number of participants: Open to everyone.
• Certificate/ECTS: Certificates will be awarded to participants who have completed all four challenges.
• Language: The application is in 5 languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish). Games and quizzes will be delivered in French or English.
