Objectives:

  1. Raise awareness among participants of RDI funding mechanisms in Europe and position it in the European strategy
  2. Allow participants to better understand the Horizon Europe program and all the financing instruments offered
  3. Allow participants to better understand a call for projects
  4. Demystify European projects by detailing the main stages in setting up a European project
  5. Allow participants to master a methodology for responding to calls for projects
  6. Inform the participants about contracting modalities of European projects and in particular the issues of intellectual protection
  7. Allow participants to understand the management of complex, multi-partner, transdisciplinary and international projects, by presenting management tools

Programme

There are 6 independent sessions. The first deadline for registrations is 18th April 2022. However, for the sessions 4 to 6 the deadline can be postponed to 3rd May 2022.

  • 3 May 2022 (14 - 17h) Session 1: Horizon Europe Presentation.
  • 4 May 2022 (14 - 17h) Session 2: Analyse the Work Programme and call for projects.
  • 10 May 2022 (14 - 17h) Session 3: Preliminary evaluation of the project idea and answer to a call for project.
  • 17 May 2022 (14 - 17h) Session 4: Setting-up a European project.
  • 24 May 2022 (14 - 17h) Session 5: Contract agreements and introduction to project management.
  • 31 May 2022 (14 - 17h) Session 6: Management of a Horizon Europe project.

    • Build the consortium, define roles and responsibilities in the project
    • Find the financing instrument in line with the level of technological maturity of the project, highlight the ambitious / strategic nature of the project, the impact, etc.

    The participation will be limited to 40 for each session with the priority given to PhD students. The selected participants will be contacted by organisers with the link to follow the class.
