This course, comprised of online group workshops, self-study, self-organized group work and flexible on demand coaching sessions, aims to equip you with skills for your future work life:

  • Insights on how the work environment is due to change (“Future of Work”) based on technology and innovation and how it also affects healthcare policymaking
  • Skills to be adaptable and flexible for an ongoing change in the work place
  • Knowledge on navigating a more complex more intercultural work environment

Language of workshop: English

    Brief overview - content:

    1st session: group meeting and self-study

    • Overview: history of work, from the industrial age to the future of work
    • Changes in the healthcare sector
    • Innovations: how are we working now and how to deal with robots as our colleagues
      • Your experience
      • Critical voices
      • Strategies

    2nd session: group meeting and self-study & group work

    • Dealing with changes in the workplace: fears & opportunities
    • Learning about a more complex and more intercultural work environment
      • Intercultural models, game
      • Intercultural working norms
      • Tips on how to navigate
    • How to change individual working styles to be more adaptable
      • Reflection
      • Exercise
      • Group discussion

    Wrap-up hour

    • Learnings, tools, next steps for final self-study assignment

    • Sept. 11th – 21st (2,5 hrs):
      • Preparation
    • Sept 23rd (8 hrs):
      • 9.00 – 12.30: online live training,
      • 13.30 – 17.00: online life-training & self-study (supervision as needed)
    • Sept. 24th (8 hrs):
      • 09.00 – 13.00: online live training
      • 4 hrs self-study & group work (supervision as needed)
    • Sept 25th (2,5 hrs):
      • 9.30 – 10.00: online group good-bye
      • 2 hrs self-study (to be submitted until Sept 30)
