The particular aim of the programme is to provide Master, PhD students, researchers and staff from the fields of economics, business and tourism – both international and Hungarian – with the opportunity to listen to courses delivered by visiting lecturers from our partner institutions, at the same time strengthening already existing, as well as preparing and designing new collaborations in teaching, research and project activities between our institutions.

The students selected for this activity will receive a scholarship funded by EUGLOH that covers the cost for travel, room & board.

Our guests are invited to participate in the following programmes:

  • Mini courses held in the training programmes of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration: (9-12 April 2024).
  • Networking and Workshops: (9-11 April 2024).
  • Social activities of various kinds: (8-12 April 2024).

Learning objectives

Depending on the profile of the applicant, the learning objectives may change.

  • Academics: teaching experience with a group of international students, improvement of intercultural skills and opportunity of new collaborations in the workshops and networking events, certificate of teaching and attendance.
  • Staff: improvement of intercultural and communication skills, opportunity for new collaborations, certificate of attendance.
  • Students: accomplishing 3 mini-courses in English in the field of business, economics and tourism, gaining 4 ECTS, improvement of intercultural and communication skills, certificate of course accomplishment.

Requirements

The course is for academics (from the field of economics, business and tourism studies), staff (interested in internationalization) and students (from the field of economics, business and tourism).

  • Selection strategy:

  • Motivation: as a primary filter, applicants must submit a motivation letter explaining their motivation to apply for the workshop (maximum 3000 characters), which will be assessed on a 1-5 scale.
  • Timestamp of application (‘first come, first served’) will be used as a secondary filter to break possible ties between applicants.
  • Number of participants: 16 students (2 students per partner) 4 academics and 8 admins (1-1 per partners).
  • Certificate/ECTS: 4 ECTS.
  • Language: English.
  • Funding: The students selected for this activity will receive a scholarship funded by EUGLOH that covers the cost for travel, room & board.
