In the context of ecological breakdown, the sufficiency transition and the building of an alternative economic model to our growth model are vividly debated, especially within the European Union. This transition involves the transformation of production and consumption models in the Global North and requires us to rethink lifestyles, social norms, worldviews, and collective organisation.
European academics, including EUGLOH researchers, will share with us their expertise in this hot topic.
Learning objectives:
This workshop aims to tackle sufficiency-related topics in an interdisciplinary perspective, such as changes in consumption patterns towards sufficiency, sufficiency-driven business models, and sufficiency policymaking.
