How can we give our new students the best possible start of their university studies? And how can we create a learning environment where the students learns how to learn? How do they catch happiness?

Have visions, realise your dreams, be professional and explore the world. And enjoy the game when you get to know higher education. SZTE+ is a game to find your way in your new student life. The drop out of the applicants is about 10% in Hungary, because students start to work instead of learning, go abroad, or are lost in the administration and integration. SZTE+ is a gamification of helping the students find their way in their new student life at University of Szeged.

The idea behind Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) at Lund University is that learning a subject is enhanced by an exchange of thoughts and ideas between students. The PASS sessions are guided by a senior student taking the role of a facilitator and aids clarification. The PASS programme aims to increase both student results and student retention.

The speakers are Lilla Kocsis, Administrative at Szeged University and Joakim Malm from Lund University.

In the Spotlight on Education series, two EUGLOH partners share their experiences and challenges in education. The webinars are interactive and the participants are encouraged to bring their perspectives to the discussion. The webinar will be recorded and made available on the EUGLOH YouTube channel).
