Spotlight on Education: Unexpected Outcomes of Internationalization

During this webinar, Ana Halbach from the University of Alcalá will discuss the need to put language in the center of a classroom where English is used - a foreign or second language for both the participants and (often) the lecturers.

Garo Harwood, Lund University will share how intercultural awareness workshops for students can raise awareness of differences in core values between cultures and how contrasting communication styles could lead to misunderstandings.

The speakers are Garo Harwood from Lund Univesity and Professor Ana Maria Halbach from the University of Alcalá.

The discussion is moderated by Lorena Silos from the University of Alcalá.
