Open call for the attribution of 30 Ph.D. Research Scholarships

There is an open call for the attribution of 30 Ph.D. Research Scholarships within the scope of the EUGLOH, under the Regulamento de Bolsas de Investigação da FCT (RBI – FCT Research Scholarships’ Regulation) and the Estatuto do Bolseiro de Investigação (EBI – Research Fellowship Holder Statute).

Funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT), within the Cooperation Protocol signed between the FCT and the University of Porto on July 2021, the Research Scholarships will fund research activities that lead to a Ph.D. degree by the University of Porto or, preferably, by the University of Porto together with another participating University forming part of the consortium.

The work plan can be carried out in its entirety at the University of Porto or in collaboration with the Université Paris-Saclay (France), Lund University (Sweden), University of Szeged (Hungary) or Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Germany).

The research activities undertaken by the selected scholarship holders must be related to the interdisciplinary areas of Global Health and the Well-being of populations, covering areas that contribute to the domains:

  • Health (10 scholarships)
  • Science and Technology (10 scholarships)
  • Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities (10 scholarships)

The application period is open from the 6th of February 2023 to the 17th of March 2023 (at 11h59 p.m., Lisbon time).
