Chemical Processes for a More Sustainable Society

Discover how chemistry is driving the transition toward sustainable energy and CO₂ valorization, and become a part of the solution to global environmental challenges!

This lecture series will provide a comprehensive overview of the solutions chemistry offers in the fields of energy storage and the transformation of CO₂ into useful chemicals. Various chemical processes will be discussed and analyzed, including the utilization of solar energy, hydrogen production and storage, and the catalytic conversation of CO₂ into valuable products. The course includes a short laboratory practicum.

The course will offer 2.5 ECTS.

Professors from the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Environmental Protection of the University of Novi Sad, as well as experts in organic synthesis towards bioactive molecules, will join the teaching team.
