This lecture series will provide a comprehensive overview of the solutions chemistry offers in the fields of energy storage and transformation of CO2 into useful chemicals. Various chemical processes will be discussed and analysed, including the utilization of solar energy, hydrogen production and storage, and the catalytic conversion of CO2 into valuable products. The course includes a short laboratory practicum.

the course will offer 2,5 ECTS

Professor from the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Environmental Protection of the University of Novi Sad and experts n organic synthesis towards bioactive molecules will join the teaching team. 

Content and Methodology

The primary teaching methodologies for this course will include online lectures and practice-based learning.

A short in-person session, lasting 3 days, will be scheduled at the University of Alcalá to cover oral presentations (workshops), practicum, examinations, and opportunities for social and scientific networking.
