Building Europe’s Campus for Global Health

International Opportunities

As researchers and academics, EUGLOH can provide you with a dynamic and collaborative environment that extends beyond your individual institution. Through exchange programmes, a network of research infrastructures, and support for building joint research projects, EUGLOH facilitates connections with experts, state-of-the-art facilities, and funding sources across our partner institutions.

The EUGLOH Visiting Guest Lecturer Programme enables teaching staff to offer guest lectures and makes it easy for course leaders to find lecturers among their EUGLOH colleagues. It also enables contacts that can lead to the creation of joint courses, joint programmes, transnational teaching innovation groups and more.

EUGLOH encourages and facilitates course/module coordinators, primarily at the bachelor’s and master’s degree levels, to involve colleagues from partner universities in the teaching of their subjects. The mobilities can be virtual, physical or blended. If physical, it is possible to fund travel to the host university through the Erasmus+ Programme at a lecturer’s home university, as long as it meets the Erasmus+ requirements.

Teaching opportunities

You can find all the teaching opportunities on our EUGLOH Connect Platform.

Background

Mobility of academic staff, either physical, blended or virtual, is a key aspect of the internationalisation of higher education and one of the main priorities of the European Commission in the field of education.

The mobility of teaching staff will also become an important tool to improve the quality of the study programmes both in the host and home institutions. It is expected to have a positive impact on the individual teaching skills and the career development of academic staff.
