BUILDING EUROPE’S CAMPUS FOR GLOBAL HEALTH
Université Paris-Saclay (UPSaclay)
The UPSaclay Student Board is currently composed of one Student Representative who is also an Ambassador, two additional Ambassadors, and various other representatives.
The Student Board works closely with the International Association of Paris-Saclay (IAPS), with a standard “association-like” structure (a President, a Secretary, a Treasurer, three Vice-Presidents for Communication, Projects and Partnerships, and regular members in each unit).
The Local Student Board and the IAPS promote EUGLOH at a local scale, welcome international students, and help students benefit from the opportunities offered by a European Universities alliance. They also build projects in collaboration with local student associations that focus on interculturality and global health.
Both the IAPS and the Local Student Board will launch their active recruitment period soon, but you can always contact Charlotte Malle or Pauline Nguyen if you are interested in joining one (or both) boards.
Lund University (LU)
Lund universitets studentkårer, or LUS as it is usually called, is an umbrella organisation for the nine student unions at Lund University. Through the member unions, LUS represents all students and doctoral students at Lund University. LUS is also a democratic organisation in which the student unions make the decisions. The representatives of the member unions make up the equivalent of a EUGLOH Local Student Board.
LUS elects student representatives who then represent LUS and the students at meetings with various bodies. This election of student representatives for various bodies is done annually. All students at Lund University have the right to apply to become a student representative for LUS and all member unions have the right to vote in the elections of student representatives. In this sense, the EUGLOH student representatives are elected through LUS.
The EUGLOH student representatives at Lund University meet on a regular basis to exchange ideas and to get updates about the EUGLOH Alliance. If you want to get involved in EUGLOH, you can apply to become a student representative here: LU EUGLOH team
University of Szeged (USZ)
The USZ Local Student Board is composed of both Hungarian and international students at the University of Szeged and operates at the university level as an integral part of the governance of EUGLOH. The Local Student Board is spearheaded by a student president and is organised into three teams, each led by a student vice-president. These teams are responsible for managing different aspects of the board’s operations: external relations, communications and student engagement. In general, the Local Student Board fosters relations with non-EUGLOH student organisations and strengthens the Alliance’s visibility on campus through its participation in most, if not all, university events, while it maintains a consistent dissemination of EUGLOH courses to all students through its communication channels.
The recruitment process for joining the USZ Local Student Board is typically announced each year before the fall semester begins (usually from the fourth week of August to the second week of September). Details regarding the application process are disseminated across all of the board’s social media channels and their Neptun system (USZ central online study management platform).
University of Porto (UPorto)
The University of Porto Local Student Board (UPSB) is dedicated to enhancing the visibility of EUGLOH across the University of Porto campus. By increasing awareness, the UPSB aims to foster student engagement in EUGLOH and civic participation.
Ensuring inclusiveness and gender balance, this committee embraces a heterogeneous mix of members from distinct study areas, UPorto faculties, backgrounds, profiles and ages. This diversity enriches the dialogue and ensures a holistic representation of the diversity of the UPorto student community.
The UPSB operates under the guidance of the UPorto EUGLOH Team, in close cooperation with the UPorto Communication and Student Engagement Officer, serving as a free, transparent, vibrant and passion-based platform for debating the principles, modus operandi, activities and construction of the EUGLOH Alliance. The UPSB members advocate for the interests and concerns of the student community, striving to create a student-centric environment within the Alliance.
Through active participation in the EUGLOH Alliance, UPSB members advocate for the interests and perspectives of the student community, fostering an environment where students come together to shape initiatives, exchange ideas and promote European affairs, citizenship and European values. They are also active in ensuring the dissemination of EUGLOH education and training opportunities to students from all 14 UPorto faculties.
The University of Porto will open a recruitment process for new members of the Local Student Board. Comprehensive information about the recruitment and selection procedures will be disseminated through different communication channels, including the University of Porto news portal, social media platforms and informational emails. Applicants will have the opportunity to submit their proposals and applications through an online form. The applications will be analysed and evaluated by a selection committee, composed of UPorto student board members and based on specific selection criteria.

University of Alcalá (UAH)
The UAH Local Student Board is headed by a president and two vice-presidents, the latter in charge of the internal organisation and communication of the LSB. For each academic course the LSB prepares a talk about national and international mobility programmes so that students who have taken part in them can describe their experience and give advice and recommendations to study at another Spanish or European university.

Universität Hamburg (UHH)
The EUGLOH Local Student Board at Universität Hamburg consists of around 20 committed students who are actively involved in the alliance and represent the local student body. The members annually elect a student president and a deputy to represent the Hamburg students on the EUGLOH international student board.
The Local Student Board is further subdivided around various responsibilities such as student engagement or communication within the student community. Currently, one of the main tasks the students are working on is to revitalise the cooperation with other student initiatives such as BEAT!, a project for student health management at Universität Hamburg or Wurzelwerk, an urban gardening project. The Local Student Board sees itself as a place where you can leave your own social bubble, broaden your horizons, learn new skills, benefit from knowledge transfer, and make new friends.
You can join the Local Student Board by sending a contact request to the UHH EUGLOH Team, and your request will be directed towards the students from there.
