This lecture series will provide a comprehensive overview of the solutions chemistry offers in the fields of energy storage and transformation of CO2 into useful chemicals. Various chemical processes will be discussed and analysed, including the utilisation of solar energy, hydrogen production and storage, and the catalytic conversion of CO2 into valuable products

Number of ECTS: 2

Prerequsites:  Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering; General knowledge in chemical transformations for energy, materials and catalysis.

Methodolgoy:

The primary teaching methodologies for this course will include online lectures and problem-based learning.

The in-person part will take part on June the 26th and 27 to cover oral presentations (workshops), examinatios and opportunities for social and scientific networking but if you arrive on the 25th you can join the guided tour.

Tthe online part it will take part form June 17th to June 24th from 9:30 to 11.30 CET.

Partners from the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Environmental Protection of the University of Novi Sad, will join the teaching team, as well as an expert in organic synthesis towards bioactive molecules.

The on-site sessions of this course will be held during the same week as the IQAR Master’s activities. Throughout the week, students will engage in various events, including conferences, a roundtable discussion with alumni and professionals, and a joint poster session.
