Content and Methodology
The Global Health Forum 2027 at LMU Munich from 16–18 March 2027, will address the overarching theme “Future-Proofing Global Health: Health Security for Today and Tomorrow, for All.”
Its content is structured around four interconnected thematic tracks: Secure Places, focusing on health in urban and rural communities; Secure Planet, addressing sustainability, biodiversity, and resilient ecosystems; Secure Societies, exploring resilience and preparedness for shocks and crises; and Secure Technologies, examining trust, artificial intelligence, digital health, and medical technologies.
Methodologically, the event adopts an interdisciplinary, international, and participatory approach, bringing together researchers from the Alliance's members's, its partners and beyond and combining scientific exchange with collaborative learning. Contributions will be delivered through oral presentations, poster sessions, and interactive workshops, complemented by the Annual Student Research Conference and the CIH Symposium. By integrating perspectives across disciplines, career stages, and institutions, the format is designed to communicate research findings by fostering dialogue, developing new collaborations, and stimulating interdisciplinary projects addressing current and emerging global health challenges.
