Navigating the COVID-19 pandemic as an individual was excruciating: from the fear of the unknown to lockdowns, it affected social interactions, education and societal coherence. For researchers and politicians, however, balancing individual responsibilities with innovative but untested technologies, macro-economic decisions and unprecedented scrutiny became an impossible task. In this simulation workshop, we want to know: how would you have handled the pressure?

Are you passionate about health innovation and eager to explore its intersection with academia, industry, and politics? Are you ready to dive into a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment to tackle global challenges?

Why Apply?

This unique workshop offers:

  • A high-profile conference experience on health innovation at large-scale facilities featuring top researchers from EUGLOH and beyond on June 02, 2025
  • Hands-on participation in student-led simulation workshops focusing on global health crises, including:
    • The Ebola epidemic
    • The COVID pandemic
  • Immersive case studies to analyze the roles of key stakeholders: EU Parliament, fundamental research, media, and industry.
  • A cultural experience: Enjoy a harbor tour of Hamburg and a joint dinner to foster community and wellbeing.
  • A platform to hone your skills, connect with peers and experts, and contribute to a sustainable and innovative future.
