Healthcare Strategy and Decision Making is an interdisciplinary course that explores how strategic and collective decisions are made in healthcare environments. Students will learn how tools from economics, game theory, voting theory and multicriteria decision making can be used to analyse complex healthcare decisions involving different stakeholders.

Through real-world cases, simulations and collaborative activities, participants will examine strategic interactions among patients, healthcare professionals, managers, insurers and policymakers. Particular attention will be given to situations in which stakeholders have different objectives, information or decision-making power.

The course combines theoretical foundations with practical applications and encourages students from different academic backgrounds to work together on healthcare decision problems. Topics include strategic decision-making, game theory, voting power, voting methods and multicriteria decision-making in healthcare.

The course will be awarded with 3 ECTS.

Teachers from the University of Novi Sad will take part in the teaching of the course.
