This is an upper-level course that will cover such topics as basic concepts of sustainability, energy
auditing, green and sustainable materials, and life-cycle frameworks for sustainability. The course also
focuses on the application of the concept of sustainability to the management of energy, water, and waste.
Students will demonstrate key knowledge in sustainability by conducting a life-cycle assessment (LCA)
project.
