UniTes! Days in Lund- Diversity and Inclusion Workshop
Lund, Sweden

The goal of this 2-day program held in Lund, Sweden, is to help staff and students working actively in the areas of Diversity, Inclusion, Harassment, Discrimination and LGBTQ+ issues to share knowledge and find ways to improve work flows to aid in a safer and more inclusive campus.
Location and dates: 1 online session 9 April (12:00-13:00 CET) and 14-15 April on site in Lund, Sweden.
Target group: Administrative or academic staff and students who bring practical experience to the table and work partially or directly with issue related to Diversity, Inclusion, Harassment, Discrimination and LGBTQ+ issues. We hope to include two staff and one student from each EUGLOH university.
Application and funding:
Your letter of motivation should include:
- Your position/program at the university within these topics and how you feel this program would help you in you work. Will you be able to apply new ideas and skills learned here practically?
- Please also give an example of a situation you would be willing to present for discussion (It should be only a few sentences for the application and kept anonymous). This situation should fall into one of these categories:
- Inclusion and Equality in Practice on Campus
- Engaging International Students and local populations
- Inclusive Mobility
- Accessibility and Universal Design for Learning
Note: in order to make this interactive, interesting, and relevant, some but not all of the situations may be used in the workshops. The final scenarios will be choosen in order to balance topics relevant to all the participants.
The applications period is open until 24 February 2026 (23:59).
We expect to inform participants if they have been accepted by March 6th.
This activity is formally recognized as an EUGLOH activity. Up to 24 participants (two staff and one student from each EUGLOH university) may be supported through the EUGLOH 2.0 project, subject to eligibility and selection criteria.
For selected participants, travel, accommodation, and subsistence are eligible costs under the EUGLOH 2.0 project budget.
Content and Methodology
By attending and participating in UniTes! Days in Lund, participants will:
- Meet with other colleagues and students with experience in these areas at different universities.
- Be presented with different scenarios to develop tools to help students and staff in a variety of situations.
- Learn about the importance of diversity and student engagement.
- Collaborate on best practice while creating concrete plans of action to take back to their workplace.
- All participants who successfully complete at least 75% of the program will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
Format
- Online Meeting (9 April, 12:00-13:00 CET)
- In-Person Training at Lund University (14th – 15th April 2025): 2 days of a combination of seminars, workshops, hands-on exercises, and also group work to present.
The case studies to be used for the workshop will come directly from participants and the host university. The themes for different parts of the workshop should fall into one of these categories:
- Inclusion and Equality in Practice on Campus
- Engaging International Students and local populations
- Inclusive Mobility
- Accessibility and Universal Design for Learning
