We are pleased to invite you to the final session of the EUGLOH Soft Skills Seminar Series, Building Your Future: Skills, Frameworks & Tools That Matter. This seminar provides an overview of the key resources developed by the European Union to support career development, understanding of the labour market, and enhancement of digital competences.
The seminar will feature Prof. Dr. Luis Fernández-Sanz, full professor at Universidad de Alcalá and President of CEPIS, who has contributed to the development of major EU frameworks:
- ESCO Labour Classification (official in all EU countries since 2021)
- DigComp Framework (EU reference for digital competence)
- EN16234-2021 / e-Competence Framework (European standard for ICT professionals)
Prof. Fernández-Sanz has also led the development of the EUGLOH Transversal Skills Framework.

The EUGLOH Soft Skills Seminar Series is an EUGLOH Career Network initiative designed by University of Porto, Lund University, University of Szeged and University of Alcalá in order to help students from all EUGLOH partner universities go beyond academic knowledge and
boost the interpersonal and career readiness skills needed in today’s evolving job market.
Through practical, interactive, engaging and diverse line-up online sessions, participants will engage with career development experts and peers on essential themes such as effective communication, emotional resilience, professional networking and job interview strategies - topics that are increasingly relevant for employability and meaningful career building.
