Join us in an insightful webinar for university teachers, interested in learning about the European Degree Label, the concept, how to apply, obstacles encountered and following steps!

To promote a unified European Higher Education Area, increase student mobility, and enhance employability by showcasing skills like multilingualism and intercultural competence, the European Degree Label appears as a voluntary, joint certificate awarded to transnational higher education programs that meet common EU criteria, signalling high quality and mobility. It simplifies cooperation, reduces administrative barriers between universities, and aims to strengthen the global competitiveness of European degrees.

In EUGLOH we are conscious of the importance of this new tool so we organise this webinar to help understand the different approaches and different understanding of countries.

Presented by Kristina Miolin, EUGLOH Institutional Manager from Lund University and together with Pedro Santiago, Deputy Director at Paris Saclay University, the speakers will show the different focus Northern and Southern countries have.

The speakers for this topic are Åsa Ekberg, from Lund University and Swedish representative in the European Degree Policy Lab and Laura Howard, from the University of Cádiz and member of the Joint European Degree Label Advisory Board.

The expert speakers will share their thoughts and expertise on the European Degree Label, introducing the concept, the technical constraints, obstacles encountered and how they can be faced. They will also review the European values and how Northern and Southern countries face the process.

The Spotlight on Education webinars are interactive and the participants are encouraged to bring their perspectives to the discussion. The webinar will be recorded and published on the EUGLOH YouTube channel.
