This programme consists of a series of six one-hour tutorials delivered by students to students. The aim of these tutorials is to provide attendees with information, language and Intercultural tools to understand better the target country and university.

The tutorials will take place over a six-week period between 12 February 2025 and 4 April 2025, from 18:00 to 19:00 CET (17:00 to 18:00 in Porto time). Exact dates are University dependent.

Students can request tutorials at any one of the following Universities:

  1. UPSaclay – Université Paris-Saclay (France)
  2. USZ – University of Szeged (Hungary)
  3. UPorto – University of Porto (Portugal)
  4. LMU – Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Germany)
  5. UAH – University of Alcalá (Spain)
  6. UNS – University of Novi Sad (Serbia)

The series of 6 one-hour tutorials will provide the students with:

  • General information on the target country
  • Practical information about the University and education system in that country
  • A crash course in basic language needs. According to the chosen university, the languages could be English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Hungarian, and Serbian
  • Intercultural awareness

Each session will be taken in charge by a trained tutor who is also a student at the chosen university. Exact dates are dependent on individual university, but will be held within the time-frame indicated.

Selection will be first come first served and target language beginners will be prioritised. The operational language will be English, so a minimum level of B2 in English is recommended but not mandatory.

Each participant will be awarded a EUGLOH certificate on full completion of the sessions
