BUILDING EUROPE’S CAMPUS FOR GLOBAL HEALTH
The EUGLOH Sustainability Map is a collective effort to identify, document, and visualize sustainability initiatives across the European University Alliance for Global Health (EUGLOH). The map serves as both a resource and a strategic tool, highlighting the diversity of activities, projects, and best practices implemented at the partner universities.
The development of the map followed a strongly participatory approach, bringing together academic staff, administrative teams, and students from across the alliance. Students played a central role in gathering information and shaping the design of the map to ensure that it reflects the diversity of initiatives. The locations represented on the map reflect this participatory, student-led process and do not represent promotion, endorsement or advertisement of any kind.
Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München hosts a variety of sustainability initiatives across campus, combining a decent number of projects with a focus on well-being and community engagement. From green chill-out spaces to nature-friendly areas and sports facilities, the university creates a balanced environment that encourages sustainable living in everyday campus life.
