BUILDING EUROPE’S CAMPUS FOR GLOBAL HEALTH

UiT-The Arctic University of Norway

The EUGLOH Sustainability Map is a collective effort to identify, document, and visualize sustainability initiatives across the European University Alliance for Global Health (EUGLOH). The map serves as both a resource and a strategic tool, highlighting the diversity of activities, projects, and best practices implemented at the partner universities.

The development of the map followed a strongly participatory approach, bringing together academic staff, administrative teams, and students from across the alliance. Students played a central role in gathering information and shaping the design of the map to ensure that it reflects the diversity of initiatives. The locations represented on the map reflect this participatory, student-led process and do not represent promotion, endorsement or advertisement of any kind.

UiT The Arctic University of Norway hosts a wide range of sustainability initiatives that combine environmental responsibility with student interests and hobbies. With numerous projects around the campus, the university fosters creativity, engagement, and community participation while promoting sustainable practices in everyday life.
