The final day, Friday, 24 October, will feature a poster session from the EUGLOH Annual Student Research Conference and the plenary session Future-Proofing Higher Education: Adapting Skills and Knowledge to the AI Era. Mónica Ferro, Director of the United Nations Population Fund’s (UNFPA) London Representation Office, will be participating as keynote speaker in the closing session and, afterwards, the host of the next Annual Summit will be announced.
Beyond the formal programme, the Annual Summit will also provide participants with the unique opportunity to experience Porto’s rich history, vibrant culture and distinctive traditions. From its UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic centre to its renowned gastronomy and hospitality, Porto offers an inspiring backdrop that will enrich the Annual Summit experience. By fostering informal exchanges and shared cultural moments, the event will create an environment that strengthens professional networks while promoting intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding among participants from across Europe.
To support participants in preparing for and engaging with the event, the official EUGLOH Annual Summit 2025 website has been launched as the central source of information about this year’s edition. The platform provides key details on the programme, speakers, highlights and practical arrangements, and will continue to grow with new content and updates as the event approaches. Participants are encouraged to visit the website regularly for the latest news and announcements.
