EUGLOH: Mission Global Health

DAAD Podcast featuring EUGLOH

EUGLOH trains the next generation of health experts and thus contributes to solving globally relevant health issues - because global challenges need global answers, is the conviction of Dr. Tobias Weinmann, guest in the new episode of Campus Europa.

The psychologist with a doctorate in human biology is himself an epidemiologist and works as a research associate at the "Institute and Polyclinic for Occupational, Social and Environmental Medicine" at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU Munich), which is part of EUGLOH. As an Outreach Officer, the DAAD alumnus is also responsible for transporting the visions of EUGLOH and concrete activities beyond the university campus to the general public. In this episode of Campus Europa, Dr. Tobias Weinmann tells us about the advantages of interdisciplinary cooperation between universities from five European countries in the fight against Covid-19, what some scientists are up to in pubs, and why it can be difficult to teach a six-year-old the contents of a master's thesis.
