EUGLOH Strengthens European Collaboration – Joint Activities by LMU and UHH for European Universities Weeks in Germany

As part of the German European Universities Weeks (30 April – 30 May), under the patronage of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) and the University of Hamburg (UHH) are highlighting European collaboration in higher education.

In collaboration with the European University Alliance for Global Health (EUGLOH), both universities will host an online event in English on 13 May at 18:00 (join here), where students will share their experiences within the EUGLOH framework – from studying abroad to virtual exchanges. An interactive European quiz will also encourage participation and promote learning about Europe and the EUGLOH alliance.

Additionally, both campuses will feature in-person “Walk & Talk” events on 14 May from 12:00-13:00, offering a chance for participants to network while enjoying a walk and asking questions about EUGLOH, as well as learning about international opportunities and the European University Alliances initiative.

Another special highlight: Annika Kerning, Local Student Board Member at LMU, will represent LMU at this year’s European Student Assembly in Strasbourg. From there, she will share her experiences through a personal Instagram testimonial.

With these activities, UHH and LMU emphasise their commitment to a connected, open, and forward-thinking European higher education landscape.
