Developing WMU’s Partnership with EUGLOH
As one of 19 universities selected from 31 applicants, WMU is the only medical university in Poland to secure this grant, underscoring its dedication to academic excellence and global collaboration. This funding, part of the European Fund for Social Development 2021-2027 (FERS), will enable the implementation of innovative initiatives designed to enhance WMU’s education and research capabilities.
Key projects supported by this funding include:
- Employee Mobility Programmes: Facilitating monitoring visits for WMU staff to partner universities within the EUGLOH network.
- Student Exchange Opportunities: Offering two-week internships to students, fostering hands-on, international learning experiences.
- Mental Health Workshops: Hosting psychoeducational sessions to promote the well-being of the academic community.
- Skill-Building Workshops: Organising training sessions for students and lecturers in collaboration with WMU’s Wałbrzych branch.
- Innovative Teaching Techniques: Developing and testing modern educational tools to advance instructional methods.
- Networking and Collaboration: Establishing the Centre for Content-Based Project Support to enhance WMU’s institutional capacity for international partnerships.
