Health Beats | Global Health Conference

Health Beats is a pioneer congress of Global Health in Portugal with the main ambition and focus to empower students and future doctors to diverse global themes and issues.

The three main themes highlighted in this first edition of the congress will be:

• The Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda;
• Climate Change and Climate Action;
• Pandemics: preparedness and response.

Experts from the most diverse areas in the fields of Public and Global Health will discuss these themes in plenary sessions.

Some parallel sessions are contemplated in the programme, as well. These sessions will increase the variety of themes brought to this conference: Global Bioethics, Gender in Healthcare, White Saviour Complex, eHealth... and much more!

Certificate/ ECTS: Participants will be certificated by AEFMUP. However, the conference won’t have any ECTS correspondence.
