A3C – Ageing, Climate Change and Citizenship aims at promoting discussion, in groups, among Master and PhD students, gathering the 5 EUGLOH partners on innovative solutions for societal issues, such as Ageing, Climate Change and Citizenship, in line with the 2030 Agenda/Sustainable Development Goals.

During this 3-day online workshop, Master and PhD students will be able to discuss and share creative ideas and methodologies, and stimulate innovation, in relation to the interconnections of these topics and their relevance to the response to present economic, social and environmental challenges.

Structure & Methods

Through hands-on methodologies, case-studies combined with a personal development component, such as group dynamics, participants will anticipate future professional settings in an international and interdisciplinary environment and develop team spirit, creative and critical thinking, leadership and communication skills.

The activity will have a preparatory session on the 12th July, in which students will get to know the Professors and access the reading materials that will support their participation during the intensive course (from the 21st to the 23rd July). In the last day (the 29th July), participants will present their projects to an international jury in a livestreamed session.

Number of Places

There are 125 places available, equally distributed among EUGLOH partner universities.

Selection criteria

Participants will be selected according to the following selection criteria:

• motivation for participation in the activity;
• curriculum vitae;
• innovative dissertation/thesis theme;
• English language proficiency, assessed in the motivation section on the application form.

Certificate/ ECTS:

3 ECTS credits and a certificate of attendance will be awarded to the participants.
