We invite all students and staff of EUGLOH to participate in the very first EUGLOH Talks contest, which is inspired by TED Talks and TEDx Talks.

To participate, contestants need to prepare a short (180-240s) video of themselves addressing their own chosen topic in English within the context of ‘Exploring the World with Today’s Constraints’. The videos must be made accessible on an online sharing portal of the contestant’s choice (Drive, Could, Box, WeTransfer, etc.). Participants must fill out a registration form in which – along with other data - they include the valid link to access and download the video.

Eligible contestants’ work will be evaluated by a jury consisting of one student and one staff member from each EUGLOH partner university based on the following aspects: presentation skills, choice of topic, relevance of the subject, comprehensiveness, logical structure, innovative approach and convincing style.

The three winners will receive tickets to participate in TEDxSaclay 2021 (to be held 24. June 2021). Winner of 1st place will have a chance to speak at TEDxSaclay 2022, as the winner’s name will be put on the prospective list of panellists from which the final speakers will be chosen.

For detailed information on contest rules and data processing, please read the documents in de download section.
