Background

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an innovative technology influencing the world’s development. But how much do we really know about the bright and dark sides of this technology? AI is more than a robot taking “neutral” decisions, it includes a long chain of people, tasks, and resources that we must consider.

About

As part of Lund University's Future Week, COMPUTE research school, AI Lund and the Agenda 2030 Graduate school will host a public seminar at which we will discuss the relation between sustainability and artificial intelligence.

In this panel discussion we invite users, developers, and computing experts to help us understand the benefits and trade-offs of this powerful technology in the context of sustainable development.
