In a team of European students, manage the marketing strategy of a virtual pharmaceutical company, and compete against other teams for the first place. The winning team earns a trip to Paris or to other universities of team members.

About

This serious game on Pharmaceutical Marketing is an online management simulation, focused on marketing strategy. It helps participants to develop their understanding and command of the whole marketing decision-making process for health products and drugs, from strategy design to sales execution.

During 6 rounds over 3 days, teams of students are competing for the leadership position at the end of the game (winning criteria is the share price and ads votes).

Since teams are composed of members from several universities, students will also benefit from virtual mobility and an intercultural experience. An expert will lecture students on interculturality during the kick-off and the debriefing sessions.

The winning team will earn a trip to Paris or to other universities of its members. The student recruiting the most students to the game wins a trip to Paris, for being the best marketer.

The kick-off and debriefing sessions, the simulation and your team meetings will be held fully online.

Aside from the simulation, teams are expected to deliver:

  • An advertisement video,
  • A Letter to shareholders

No work is expected from the students before or after the 3 days of the rush game.

You can still register to the game and participate if you already have some commitments during part the 3 days. You need to attend at least to 75% of your team sessions and full-class meetings.

Expectations

  • You need however to coordinate with the rest of your future team to establish a clear planning of the availabilities of everyone in the team.

    • 10:00 to 13:00 : Kick-off meeting
    • 16:00 : Training Round 1 deadline
    • 18:00 : Round 1 deadline

    13/12:

    • 12:00 : Round 2 deadline
    • 14:00 : Round 3 deadline
    • 16:00 : Round 4 deadline
    • 18:00 : Round 5 deadline
    • During the day, each team can meet with a coach, to be scheduled between 10:00 to 18:00

    14/12:

    • 12:00 : Round 6 deadline
    • 14:00 : Round 7 deadline
    • 15:00 to 17:00 : Debriefing meeting. Winners of the trips will be announced.
